2024 ANPT ANNUAL CONFERENCE
The Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy (ANPT) is excited to announce its’ 2024 Annual Conference event to be held Thursday, September 19 – Saturday, September 21. The conference is being held in Columbus, Ohio.
The ANPT annual conference aims to foster excellence in neurologic physical therapy by promoting
- knowledge translation strategies,
- dissemination of clinically-relevant scientific evidence,
- application of best practices, and
- networking opportunities among clinicians, scientists, educators, administrators, and students
We will do this by:
- examining recommendations and research evidence (for example, clinical practice guidelines, evidence-based documents, clinical trials)
- exploring examples of successful efforts of knowledge translation of evidence-based practices
- offering opportunities for meaningful engagement, discussion, and development of collaborations among participants
The conference will include large group and small group discussions on topics related to communication with patients and families, including delivering measurement results (“life altering information”) and shared decision-making. There
will also be usual high-quality presentations on evidence-based content, with an emphasis on implementation into clinical practice.
