How to locate a physical therapist that specializes in neurologic conditions?
The American Physical Therapy Association offers a consumer service called Find a PT. Find a PT allows you to search a national database of physical therapist members of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) for neurologic therapists and Neurologic Clinical Specialists.

What is a Neurologic Clinical Specialist?
A Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS) is a physical therapist who has had advanced training or practice in the area of neurologic physical therapy. These physical therapists have been awarded the designation NCS because they have met the requirements and passed a specialty examination of the American Board of Physical Therapist Specialists.
