Their mission is to raise awareness of issues of DEI that affect patient outcomes within neurologic physical therapy practice and to raise the profile of DEI within the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy. They create and maintain partnerships with other ANPT work groups with a goal of seeking feedback and providing recommendation regarding inclusivity with their activities, while also supporting and providing guidance to the APTA and state components of APTA to increase diversity within DPT and PTA education as well as residency and fellowship training programs for neurologic clinical specialists.
