Through a strategic initiative, the ANPT is offering training and support to implement KT into member clinician's practice or organization.
The Academy is offering a two phased process to provide a KT Summit to provide education on KT and the creation of a KT project (phase I) and grant funding with mentorship for implementation of KT projects (phase II). Grant applicants are required to attend and ANPT Knowledge Translation Summit. The KT Summit occurs every 3 years.
Only those who attend the KT Summit may apply for KT Grant funding up to $20,000. Details on the grant application process are in the link below.
2026 CSM Knowledge Translation (KT) Summit
ANPT will be hosting the Knowledge Translation (KT) Summit as a 2-day CSM Precon on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 10-11. Applications are open now through September, 12 2025 – with an intent to apply form requested by August 1, 2025. This workshop will teach clinicians, managers and scientists about the practice and science of KT, which is a process that can be used to implement evidence-based practices (EBPs), and result in the development of an action plan to implement an EBP at the participant’s clinic.
Workshop attendees will be expected to attend in groups of 2-3 from one organization and will participate in didactic training and problem based and interactive group work related to KT. This Summit is open to all PTs. Acceptance notices will be sent out by mid-October. Attendees will need to register and pay the CSM pre-con fee.
