The scope of this Clinical Practice Guideline (CPG) is to evaluate available evidence of the efficacy of various physical interventions to improve walking function of patients with a history of a stroke, motor incomplete SCI, or TBI of > 6 months duration. National Campaign
Although the Locomotor CPG addresses cardiovascular intensity as an important parameter in improving locomotor function in chronic stroke, TBI, and SCI patients, there is research supporting training at high training levels at all stages of recovery.
