Lab 1: Mat Physical Assessment Postural Alignment

Orientation:

To prepare for the 4 Lab Sessions and orient to the Wheelchair Seating and Mobility Unit go to the ANPT Synapse Online Learning Center, create an account and complete Wheelchair Modules 1, 2 and 3. Each module runs between 20 and 30 minutes and includes a post test. You are required to complete the post test, download and submit your certificate of completion to your Faculty Instructor.

Modules 4-10 are part of Pre-Lab Assignment in preparation for each scheduled Labs 1-4.

Finally review and familiarize yourself with the materials in the Reference Resources. This folder includes the APTA General Mobility Device Clinical Documentation Guide, APTA Medicare Policies for Mobility Assistive Equipment and sample forms that you can use, adapt and reference now and in the future.
